My name is Werner Hallabrin. I am a trustee for the Deaf Institute.

In 1987, I earned an associate degree in deaf ministries from CCU. Cecil Bennett was my teacher. Later, it led to a B.A. in elementary education in 1990, and a Master’s in Multicultural Special Education, 2010, both from Mt. St. Joseph University.

I met my wonderful wife Julie, at the summer Deaf Camp in 1985, and we have been married 35 years this year, 2021.

I have been blessed to have many opportunities to represent the Deaf Institute in churches, preaching, teaching sign language classes, and Sunday School classes.  My prayer is that many families with deaf adults and children will learn as much as possible about Jesus Christ.
