Are you a parent of a child who has been diagnosed with a hearing loss?  Are you feeling lost and unsure, overwhelmed with information and resources… or perhaps UNDERwhelmed with enough information?? Are you wondering WHY? Why me? Why my child? How do I figure everything out? Or WHAT? What do I do? and HOW do I do it? How do I know what is the best choice? Will people judge me? Will they judge my child? What if my choice now turns out to be the WRONG choice later?

I invite you to come and share your feelings, thoughts, insecurities, doubts, fears, HOPES, and concerns.  This is a safe place where truly there is no stupid question.  I will help to ease your mind and your heart about what you’re dealing with and to have faith despite your circumstances. This is a place where we can share information with each other, free of judgement or pressure.

This is a pilot test of this kind of event to see if people have interest.  If you have interest but are unable to attend, please email britney@deafstreetlight.com so we can work something out in your schedule!  I am more than happy to meet with you individually.
